    Why Do I Need Winter Tires?

    Our customers’ main concern is that they don't want to become "stuck" in the snow (or in the ditch) during the winter.

    While locations like Atlantic City, Memphis, and Seattle are on the outskirts of the snow belt, relatively new All-Season tires are sufficient. However, the odds vary when you travel further into the snow belt or your All-Season tires wear out. And who wants to take a chance, especially when their collision deductible and future insurance premiums are on the line?

    Tires, as we all know, are a compromise. One tire cannot be the quickest on the track, the most maneuverable in the snow, and the longest lasting. The Ultra-High-Performance tire, which holds the track at tread temperatures of 200°, is ineffective because its tread compound turns "hard plastic" at temperatures below 32°.
