Hankook Tires, founded in 1941, is a relatively new company in the field. The company's headquarters are in Seoul, South Korea, but it has a North American office in Nashville, Tennessee. Hankook is the world's sixth-largest tire manufacturer, according to the 2019 Tire Business Global Tire Company Rankings.

 

The company primarily manufactures tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs, but it also manufactures car batteries and auto equipment. Hankook currently provides original equipment (OE) tires to both commuter and luxury brands such as Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, and Porsche. There are also various replacement tire models available from the firm.
