Nexen tires

Nexen (name changed in 2000) entered the tire market very late, having been founded in 1942 under the name Heung-A Tire Company. With the opening of a special tire manufacturing facility in Yangsan, South Korea, in 1985, its business truly took off. After joining forces with OHTSU Tire & Rubber in Japan six years later, it started concentrating on expanding its selection of tires.

Nexen received a patent in 2005 for a method of creating rubber silicate nano-composite tires. After creating a well-liked SUV tire in 2006, Nexen established a facility in Qingdao, China, and sales there have since soared. The best-rated tire in the USA without a dedicated manufacturing facility is Nexen, according to Consumer Reports. Currently, it exports to more than 120 nations, which naturally includes the USA.
