Deep tread depths, wide circumferential grooves, and open notches in the shoulders aid in the evacuation of standing water and slush, while high-density, multi-angle siping generates the biting edges required for traction in wet, snowy, and icy situations.

The Discoverer Snow Claw, which is molded to accept optional metal studs and was designed with durability in mind, provides sure-footed assurance in hard winter settings.

The Cooper Discoverer Snow Claw features a tough winter compound molded into a symmetric tread pattern that focuses on closing gaps between tread components to improve clear road handling, especially while hauling large loads. Densely siped tread blocks improve wet and winter traction by offering biting edges and flexibility to aid in tire adhesion to the road surface.

Snow-Groove technology, which incorporates serrations into zigzag circumferential grooves to improve snow-to-snow traction in packed and deep snow conditions.
