Why Choose Hankook Tires?

Quality

Hankook has eight production plants across the world. Because of their meticulous attention to detail, tire construction is done by robots to ensure constant quality and few faults. The automation of the manufacturing process allows for better precision, which is critical when making premium high-performance tires. Because the process is so precise, only 0.0001% of tires fail to reach Hankook's high-quality criteria and are rejected.

Range

Hankook offers a wide variety of tires. Over the years, they have added additional models of varying sizes and specifications to what is now a wonderfully diverse selection. Not only are there options in every tire category, but there are also distinct models and specifications within each category. When it comes to Hankook tires, you are spoiled for choice.

Durability

Hankook tires get excellent mileage thanks to wear and tear reduction methods. The tread compound construction has also been shown to improve durability. Hankook gives remarkable mileage guarantees across the board, demonstrating their confidence in their tires' ability to perform long into their later years.

Handling

Hankook's racing heritage has allowed them to develop elements that improve handling, such as Dynamic Profile Control Technology. This method lessens the effect of gravitational forces on tires at high speeds, which cause them to deform, reducing performance.

Edged pattern designs and robust shoulder blocks improve control while providing grip in all situations. Hankook tires, in fact, are engineered to give traction and performance all year.

Top Hankook Tires

Hankook Tires Ventus R-S4

The Hankook Ventus R-S4 (Z232) is an Extreme Performance Summer tire designed for drivers of sports cars, sports coupes, and performance sedans seeking near-motorsports levels of grip for track events, autocross, and drifting in a street tire. The Ventus R-S4 is not intended to be maintained, stored, or driven in near-freezing or below-freezing conditions, through snow, or on ice, like all summer tires.

R-S4 Hankook Ventus The Ventus R-S4 features a revolutionary carbon black and silica high-grip compound molded into a directed, low-void design. The wide, continuous center rib maintains constant contact with the road, providing a firm on-center feel and quick responsiveness to steering inputs. Massive outboard shoulder blocks provide the lateral grip required for high-g cornering in racing and performance driving, while chamfered block edges enhance contact with the pavement under load.
The inclusion of highly dispersible silica has addressed wet traction. A functionalized polymer improves silica bonding inside the compound matrix, while the two main circumferential grooves allow water to pass through the contact patch for improved hydroplaning resistance.

Heavy rain and standing water may still provide problems to longitudinal and lateral hydroplaning resistance, therefore drivers should exercise caution and drive at lower speeds in these conditions.

The performance of the Ventus R-S4 begins on the inside. Sidewall flex is reduced by using a high-modulus bead filler and sidewall reinforcement material, resulting in a more immediate handling reaction. A two-ply casing is sandwiched between two wide steel belts that support the tread. A two-layer (single layer in some sizes) jointless nylon cover is tailored to maximize handling and stabilize the tread for long life, and extra strength in the shoulder helps endure the abuse of high-camber driving.

Hankook Tires Ventus V12 EVO2

Hankook's Max Performance Summer tire, the Ventus V12 evo2 (K120), is designed for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, and high performance sedans who want to express their personality and style.
Ventus V12 evo2 tires are designed to provide exceptional traction and handling in both dry and wet conditions. They are not, however, intended to be driven in near-freezing conditions, through snow, or on ice, as are all summer tires.

The Ventus V12 evo2 radial's high-grip silica tread composition includes a unique functionalized styrene polymer that reduces tire rolling resistance while maintaining dry and wet traction. To optimize dry handling and traction, this compound is molded into a directional tread design with notched shoulders and 3D intermediate ribs flanking a continuous center rib.
Circumferential and aqua jet lateral grooves help to evacuate water from the center of the tire's contact patch, which improves hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. The intermediate block grooves use stealth technology and a unique wing tip shape to reduce noise.

The internal structure of the tire consists of two wide steel belts strengthened by two plies of spirally wrapped jointless nylon. High stiffness bead fillers sandwich hard rubber between the polyester cord casing plies on the sidewalls to increase handling responsiveness by preventing distortion at high speeds and during cornering.

Hankook Tires Ventus ST RH06

Hankook's Ventus ST RH06 Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire was designed for drivers of high-performance luxury SUVs and pickup trucks. The Ventus ST RH06, designed to provide world-class performance for light vehicles, has a lot going for it both inside and out. Designed to provide predictable handling, traction, and control in warm, dry, and rainy situations, as well as all-year traction, including light snow.

Ventus ST RH06 tires have a high-tech tread compound molded into a directional V-shape design to improve handling and traction in both dry and wet road conditions. Controlled Footprint Shape technology maintains contact patch performance while reducing tread pattern noise using Hankook's Dual Depth Pitch Theory (DDPT) multiple sub pitch idea.

To improve high-speed stability and endurance, the tire's interior structure contains twin steel belts reinforced with two plies of spirally wrapped nylon. A jointless bead and a high bead filler combine to provide a consistent ride with high-speed stability. A rim guard protects the rims from scratches.
Hankook Tires Kinergy PT
Hankook's Kinergy PT is a Standard Touring All-Season tire designed for drivers of coupes, family sedans, minivans, and crossover cars searching for a tire that combines minimal noise, a comfortable ride, and extended life. The Kinergy PT is designed for year-round use and provides traction in dry, rainy, and slippery conditions, even light snow.

For reduced rolling resistance and long life, the Kinergy PT employs an abrasion-resistant carbon black compound. For handling and endurance, the compound is molded into an asymmetric pattern with optimal block stiffness. In addition to the high-stiffness center rib, the computer-designed shape helps to evenly distribute weight across the contact patch, which aids wear.

To drain water from the footprint and prevent hydroplaning, wide circumferential grooves operate in tandem with lateral notches. The aqua slant sipes add biting edges for enhanced traction in wet or snowy conditions.

The Kinergy PT's internal architecture includes two wide steel belts with full-width nylon reinforcement for increased handling, longevity, and high-speed stability. Folded belt edge strips help to prevent belt edge separation while also increasing stability, and the robust, jointless bead wire improves uniformity for a smoother ride.

Hankook Dynapro HP2

Hankook's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire, the Dynapro HP2, was designed for drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles, and prestige pickups searching for year-round, on-road capability. Dynapro HP2 tires are designed to provide all-season grip in dry, rainy, and winter situations, even in light snow, by combining outstanding ride comfort, extended wear, and low rolling resistance.

The Dynapro HP2 tires have an all-season silica enhanced tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern that combines wet, dry, and winter grip. Hankook's 3D Shoulder Block technology improves dry road handling, while a continuous center rib optimizes steering control and feedback. Four large circumferential grooves direct water away from the tire's footprint, preventing hydroplaning and maintaining wet traction. Engineered siping in each tread block provides hundreds of biting edges to aid in snow traction.

To combine high-speed durability with ride homogeneity, the tire's internal structure features two wide steel belts strengthened with spirally coiled jointless nylon cord. The steering response and riding comfort are combined by a high-density polyester shell.

Hankook Tires Ventus TD

Streetable Track & Competition tires are intended for drivers who take part in racetrack laps and car club events*. However, they are not suggested for driving in wet weather when there is standing water and the possibility of hydroplaning. Furthermore, they should not be driven, stored, or serviced in temperatures near or below freezing.

Conclusion

Hankook's collaboration with several car manufacturers to supply them with original equipment exemplifies the company's quality. Ford's F-120 is an example of this. Hankook installed tires on 3.5 million Ford automobiles over the course of two years.
