General tires

General Tire, founded in 1915 alongside four other major tire manufacturers in Akron, Ohio, was purchased in the late 1980s by the German tire company, Continental.

General Tire manufactures tires for sports cars, sedans, light trucks, crossovers, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. The company sells tires through local dealers and shops and supplies tires to General Motors and other automakers. General Tire's tires come with a 45-day trial period.

These tires have grip edges to improve traction and a flatter, broader footprint to reduce tread stress and lengthen tire life. They have a monitor that tells the driver when a tire needs to be replaced, as well as a visual alignment indication that detects misalignment.
Wheelrack is the authorized distributor of General Tires.
